NIST Director Pat Gallagher to testify on improving cybersecurity

NIST Director Pat Gallagher will testify today at 2:30 p.m. before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. The hearing, titled “The Partnership Between NIST and the Private Sector: Improving Cybersecurity,” is Director Gallagher's fifth appearance before the Senate to discuss NIST's collaboration with industry on standards and best practices for the protection of information technology in critical infrastructure.
