The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 2018 Government/Industry Meeting is an annual conference designed to unite significant numbers of government policy and regulatory makers with auto industry representatives to discuss the effect of government action on future vehicle design. The Meeting provides a neutral forum to share information to provide the legislative and regulatory bodies the means to properly analyze the technical aspects prior to drafting legislation or regulations for safety, emission control, and energy conservation. This year's meeting will be held in Washington, DC from January 24-26 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

On January 25th at 10:15 am, the NCCoE’s Zach Furness will join NIST’s Suzanne Lightman and representatives from Ford, Honda, the American Center for Mobility and John Hopkins’ Applied Physics Lab on a panel to discuss issues surrounding Cybersecurity and Privacy.
